Vosseslag Lighthouse - Observation point

The Lighthouse of Vosseslag is no ordinary lighthouse, but a striking green-and-white artwork and lookout point, located between Bredene and De Haan.
What makes the Vosseslag Lighthouse so special?
- Artistic Eye-Catcher: Designed by Belgian artist Guillaume Bijl, the tower is a tribute to the maritime past and the former beacon of Wenduine.
- Panoramic Views: Since summer 2021, this 13-metre-high tower has been open to the public. After climbing the 56 steps, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the dunes, the North Sea, green golf courses, and the polder landscape beyond.
- Historic Location: The tower stands at the historic beach access of Vosseslag, where fishermen once set out to sea – a place full of local significance.
- Easily Accessible: The tower is within walking distance of the Vosseslag stop of the Coastal Tram. Admission is free!
